Wigan UTC have been participating in making a large variety of products to sell as part of their Business Studies course.
The Year 10 students were able to prepare and make their own products in the facilities available at Wigan UTC and teachers provided them with the ingredients and other such things they needed to aid them in their preparation. The fayre took place across a week at break and lunchtimes in the UTC. The students were split into two teams to battle and see who could sell the most. The products created were:
The winner is still undecided as we are currently counting out the increasing amount of cash.
The students were very well behaved and presentable on the day and appeared to enjoy the stalls.
We hope all the students enjoyed the effort put into making the products and found it beneficial.
